Well, don’t worry, I have a checklist ready for you guys which will help you out during your next journey to South Korea. Here is a list of top 6 must visit cafes if you travel Seoul, South Korea. Do not miss out!
Cafe Yeonnam-dong 223-14 (Yeonnam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul)
It is one of the most amazing and creative cafes I have ever known. The cafe is famously known for its 2D interior design, which can be visualized inside the entire café. The walls, chairs, tables, serving trays, everything appears sketched and 2D. It is said that a famous Korean drama ‘W’ inspires the café’s interior as it covers the comic and 2D world within drama. If you are a Korean drama fan and have watched ‘W’ then it’s a must go. The vibe is so different from the moment you enter the café. This café has also been a part of the famous Netflix original movie “To All the Boys: Always and Forever.”
LINE Friends Cafe and Store (Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, Seoul)
It is a mini mall; it has a wide variety of plushies and line friends merchandise. LINE is a very popular Korean messaging app and its various character stickers have been widely famous all over the world for being endearing and adorable. The store also has a café where a wide variety of snacks and beverages are served, which also have LINE characters on them. The entire store is Instagrammable with a lot of cute pictures where adorable memories can be captured.
943 King’s Cross: Harry Potter Café (Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul)
Any Harry Potter fans out there? This café is a multi-storey café and has a beautiful Harry Potter themed interior on each floor. There are many Hogwarts inspired meal sets available for you to enjoy. This definitely is worth visiting at least once in order to have a breath-taking experience of being a wizard and being a part of Harry Potter movie. The interior is entirely decorated with different props and items that you must have seen in the movie itself. Also, Hogwarts uniform is available for you to click a perfect snap for your feed. Nothing is more interesting for a devoted Harry Potter fan than to feel like being a part of the movie, right?!
Pink Pool Café Stylenanda (Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul)
As the name suggests, this café is a combination of pastel pink and swimming pool theme. Inculcating ambiance of this café is quite soothing from the very moment you enter the café. The café is decorated beautifully with pink flowers, neon pink lights. The tile pattern looks similar to that of a swimming pool. Brightness of pastel pink colour throughout the café makes the perfect photographs highly instagrammable and eye-catching to others. With your styling poses and the cafés background, you can have one of your best clicks here.
Ddong Café (Gwansun-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul)
I decided to recommend this café to you guys as not just beautiful and adorable things need to be experienced but some weird and different stuffs should be kept in memories too. People also know this café as Poop café. So, as the name clearly explains, it’s a poop themed café. Almost all the things are poop shaped or they look like poop. From furniture to decorations, including the serving mugs and food containers. Everything resembles the toilet seat and poop. Several of the cuisines are served in poop shape. This experience may seem unappetizing but it’s a must onetime.
Keeping Café (Mangwon-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul)
This café is also known as pink vending machine café because of its unique entrance. A pink vending machine can be seen near an entire wall, but actually that vending machine is the gate and entrance of the café. The café is aesthetic. All the items served such as beverages, desserts are exceptionally beautiful and perfect for your uploads to make people envious.
