ABOUT THE MOVIE

The movie captures the grand finale of their tour at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome on September 17, 2023. This show marked the end of a year-long journey that spanned 66 performances, beginning with their first show on October 15, 2022. I watched the movie at Cinepolis DLF Avenue, Saket, Delhi. The 4DX experience made it feel as though we were right there in the crowd, cheering along with fans from all over the world.

The movie kicked off with ‘Pink Venom, and from the first note, the theatre was buzzing with excitement. The powerful performances that followed, including ‘How You Like That’ and ‘Pretty Savage, were pure adrenaline, reminding us why BLACKPINK has such a massive following.

Each member had their time to shine with solo performances that showcased their unique talents. Jennie owned the stage with ‘Solo’ and You & Me,Jisoo with All Eyes on Me’ and ‘Flower,Rosé with ‘On the Ground’ and ‘Gone, and Lisa with ‘Money. These moments were a reminder of just how talented and versatile each member is, which is why they’re loved not just as a group but also as individuals.

EXPERIENCE

The movie wasn’t just about the music; it also gave us a peek into BLACKPINK’s hearts. Seeing the members interact with fans during the concert, expressing their gratitude and love was touching. They spoke about how much BLINKs mean to them and their hopes to continue growing together.

The movie ended with encore performances of ‘Forever Young’ and ‘As If It’s Your Last, with the theatre ringing with the iconic fan chant, “BLACKPINK! BLACKPINK! BLACKPINK! BLINK! BLINK!!”

Experiencing BLACKPINK’s World Tour through the ‘Born Pink’ concert movie was nothing short of a dream come true for BLINKs in India, especially those who couldn’t attend the live concerts. The movie was a visual and auditory feast, showcasing the group’s unparalleled passion for music, dance, and rap. Watching ‘Born Pink’ with other BLINKs was an unforgettable experience.

As BLACKPINK’s members continue to explore their solo careers, I can’t wait to see what they do next. Whether it’s more concert movies or documentaries that give us a closer look at their lives and music, one thing is for sure: the journey with BLACKPINK is far from over.
