Writer: Riya Choudhary (Delhi)

On 22nd February 2025, Korean content creators Jin Hyun Lim and Jung Inwook, better known as the JinJung Brothers, held their first meet-up in Delhi. They are known for their fun and relatable content. They garnered acclaim notably for their fluent Hindi. They became a huge hit and currently have 233K followers on Instagram.

To connect with their fans and to know their stories, they organized this meet-and-greet, which was held at Got Tea, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.

As soon as they dropped hints and made the final announcement, our team member Riya Choudhary, a devoted fan, was determined not to miss the opportunity to meet them in person in Delhi. Here’s her account of that fun-filled day.

Upon arrival, the atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm. The event started with a warm welcome from the JinJung Brothers, who greeted fans with big smiles on their faces at the entrance of the venue. They handed us the welcoming gift, which included a JinJung Brothers x Got Tea-themed bag charm and a raffle ticket. This small gesture fostered a sense of belonging and set a welcoming tone. They exchanged greetings with every attendee and even casually interacted with those attending.

The event kicked off with a fun game where the fans got the chance to play the nostalgic Korean game, Ddakji, with JinJung Brothers. The game displayed the playful side of JinJung Brothers, where they enthusiastically challenged attendees to matches and created a competition filled with laughter and engagement.

Following the games, they prepared a box where attendees got the opportunity to ask them anything—questions ranging from their journey as a content creator to their birthdays to favorite Indian dishes. JinJung Brothers answered every question with sincerity, some filled with a dose of laughter, providing a deeper understanding of them, which made fans truly connected.

As the event neared its end, a lucky raffle was held where the attending fans got the chance to win gifts specially curated by the JinJung Brothers themselves, including their merch and beauty products by Kindlife. The excitement was palpable as they drew the winning numbers and created a joyful moment for the winners. Hence the event concluded with a group picture with all attendees.

As their devoted fan, I also got the chance to interact with them. Sharing the personal thoughts of how their content makes us go crazy was truly a memorable moment. I met the Koreans living in India—Oh Jin-woo (owner of Seoul Station) and Cha Jae-il, aka Jake (cosmetic researcher)—who were also there to attend the event, and I had a fruitful conversation with them.

Also, I got the chance to share the fact that I interviewed JinJung Brothers last year; trust me, their reactions were crazy and too heartfelt. For the written interview, I expressed my appreciation, and they shared their gratitude for the immense support they received from the fans. For the keepsake, I got the opportunity to take a picture with them. Their genuineness warmed my heart.

It was a rewarding experience filled with joy, connection, and belongingness. Overall, their meet-and-greet was definitely a rewarding experience to connect and interact with them in person. They effortlessly connected with each attendee and bridged the cross-cultural love. Every fan left with a big smile on their face and deeper admiration for JinJung Brothers. Wishing them the best for what the future holds for them.

Have you ever met the JinJung Brothers or watched their content? We’d love to hear your thoughts!
