K-Event Review: Lee Min-ho’s fanmeet “Minhoverse” in Seoul and Bangkok

After eight long years, Lee Min-ho, the South Korean heartthrob, returned to the fan meeting stage with his highly anticipated 2025 Asia Fanmeeting Tour, ‘MINHOVERSE’ hosted and organized by MYM Entertainment and TONZ Entertainment, which ignited the passion and devotion of his loyal fanbase. His fans, proudly known as MINOZ, have eagerly awaited this moment. Being named MINHOVERSE, which defines Minho and the Universe coming together, contains a special message stating that MINOZ from all around the world will connect on a deeper level with the actor creating their universe. We connected with INDIAN MINOZ– Naaz, Dhwani H Mehta, and Freena Michael, who attended the fan meeting in Seoul and Bangkok, respectively. Read on to discover the magical moments they experienced during this meet and greet.

Soulful Moments in Seoul

The fan meet kicked off with the first stop in Seoul. It was held at the Olympic Hall, Seoul Olympic Park, on March 8th. Minoz from all over the globe attended the meeting. There was a photoism photo booth at the venue where interested fans could click pictures and get the photo strip. Global Minoz handed out freebies to attending fans. The attendee fans received a poster, a photocard, and a cheering lightstick during the entry. Minhoverse behind the film was being played, and they even showed Min-ho getting tired and expressing his views in a funny banter. He started the concert with the song Be My Last Love, a song dedicated to his fans, which brought tears to everyone’s eyes. The venue was divided into groups A, B, C, D, and E, and everyone played a game, the Level Up mini-game, where questions related to Min-ho’s characters from his dramas were displayed on the screen.

Minoz had to scan the QR code on the screen and vote for their answer. Funny images of him were used to show the progress bar for each group. A lucky draw was also held during the meet, where winners received hand cream as a gift, and some got the opportunity to guess what Lee Min-ho had drawn. He also played the game and burst the balloon with a few fans. He went through his SNS posts, reminiscing about how it started and what his thoughts were at that time. The Q&A session was also held during the meet, where fans asked questions like who is the most handsome character he has played, and he jokingly answered that he chooses himself. Fans also asked him to choose between Heo Joon-jae and Gu Jun-pyo, and he selected Gu Jun-pyo and said that, among his characters, dating Gu Jun-pyo is the most exhausting.

He performed his songs, such as Always and Without You. His voice was magical and soothing. Towards the end, he was so touched that he had tears seeing all the minoz and the love they showered as he connected with them through a concert after a long time. He waved goodbye and left but came back on stage again, shook hands with a few fans near the stage, and collected gifts from them. Before leaving for the last time, he continuously reminded fans to check their emails for his gift, wished them goodnight, and bid farewell.

Fan Experience

It was a dream come true to attend his concert. I watched his videos online when he did concerts before his enlistment. I attended with my Filipino Minoz friends and after the event met my Minoz friends from Malaysia too. I can’t believe I lived the dream and attended his concert. Still cannot believe that. I was in the 10th row, 8th seat near the stage, and saw him up close. It felt like a dream and I have no words to explain what I felt there and didn’t get a gist of time. I started missing him immediately after the concert ended. He is so charming. He is also very tall and handsome, and the way he unknowingly does those cute gestures makes my heart flutter.

Magical Night in Bangkok––Lost in Minhoverse

After Seoul, the next stop was Bangkok. The fanmeet took place at UOB LIVE, EMSPHERE on March 22nd, 2025. Fanmeet started with the video & his voice asking fans to be calm, stop everything & take off to Minhoverse. Once the intro was over, he entered singing I Love You. Then he introduced himself & welcomed everyone. After some talks, they showed his scenes, such as the kissing scene, him getting slapped/beaten, and his various expressions from his recent K-drama When The Stars Gossip, as he talked about those scenes too. After that, he sang Without You & Stalker followed by a game with his K-drama characters racing with different types of vehicles. He had to choose his favourite character, Kim Tan V/S Heo Joon-jae & he chose Kim Tan because all the fans screamed for it.

The 2nd round was Gu Jun-pyo V/S Lee Gon, where he selected Gu Jun-pyo, and in the final round, he chose Kim Tan again because of all the screams. It was followed by games where he played games such as Jegichagi, hug & burst balloons, and Minoz were selected through a raffle. The third activity was Fan sign, where 3 Minoz were selected through a box as he picked up seat numbers. During Fansign, he wore Angel Wings & Kings Coat with gold buttons & answered questions asked after that he talked about his upcoming movie & his journey of fan meets were shown of all years to date, which made every Minoz emotional.

It was followed by his performance as he sang Be My Last Love & Always and left the stage, but then he came again & sang one last song before leaving. Then it was the turn of fan benefits, so people who won the group photo had to wait inside the hall & the ones who won the Hi Bye Benefit were queued & left the hall where Minho held hands & said bye. It was such a heartwarming and best moment for each attending Minoz for sure.

Fan Experiences

The crowd energy was awesome, and it was my first fan meeting, and it felt like I was on cloud nine. the moment when he entered, it was like, is this for real?? Am I seeing Oppa for real? The most memorable moment for me was when he entered and walked towards my side to the front of the stage. When I saw him, I was like, Omg! The camera did not do justice to his handsome face. He was shining like a star for sure. I was screaming my lungs out. I will never forget this moment of seeing oppa for real. I will forever cherish this moment.

It was my first time attending a fan meet & such event ever. The whole experience felt like a dream coming true. Everything was perfect from going to the venue, getting tickets & benefits, and activities till the fan meet. Lee Min-ho is so handsome & the sweetest ever. The camera doesn’t do justice to his beauty. Of course, my Best Moment was holding hands with him for the Hi Bye session, which I will never forget. One thing on my bucket list is checked ✅. I’ll be Minoz Forever & waiting for him to come to India. Still lost in Minhoverse🩵✨

The stars have surely aligned as the universe brought MINOZ closer to Lee Min-ho through this Asia Fanmeeting tour. Lee Min-ho’s charm and genuineness are what make every Minoz go crazy. This fanmeet was surely a magical night for Korean & Thai Minoz, along with Global Minoz who attended from other countries. Fans had an endearing experience as they saw him perform live, answering the questions they asked and playing games such as Jegichagi. Songs such as Without You and Always echoed in fans’ hearts. Fans shouted I love you & he replied I love you too with cute poses, giving the best fan service. The actor made sure that every Minoz had a great time. The fan meet has concluded its Seoul, Bangkok, and Macau stops and will continue with its remaining legs in Taipei, Jakarta, and Manila, and will end with Tokyo on 5th May 2025. We wish that every Minoz can see him live one day.
