2019 was the year of amazing dramas, Angel’s Last Mission: Love being one of them. I was never a big fan of Kim Myung-soo, but this drama completely changed my perspective about him, and he is one of my favourite actors now. This drama, released in May 2019, achieved high ratings at that time and also bagged many awards such as the KBS Best Couple Award, Best New Actor Award, and many more.
Unlike most of the K-Dramas whose stories are fictional, ‘The Hymn of Death’ is based on true events of the past. This drama beautifully portrays the devastating love story between playwright Kim Woo-jin (also Kim U-jin) and soprano Yun Sim-deok. It has a total running time of approximately three hours in the form of 6 episodes which is quite short when compared to a regular K-Drama. ‘The Hymn of Death’ also known as the ‘Death Song’ is a romantic tragedy drama that beautifully depicts the painful yet realistic love story. The cast is meticulously chosen which consists of Lee Jong-suk as Kim Woo-jin and Shin Hye-sun as Yun Sim-deok.
I recently finished watching W – Two Worlds for the first time – four years after its release. Coaxed into trying it despite my reservations and initial hesitation, I soon realized it was going to be a memorable one that would find a spot in my folder of ‘Best dramas of all time’.
Kim Joo-young, a character in the drama sets the perfect mood for this drama. With a beautifully woven but intense plot line and an equally remarkable acting endeavor, this drama was meant to be one of the record-breakers in viewership. This JTBC drama started airing in November 2018. This article doesn’t consist of any spoilers so you can read it till the end!

Sanskriti Pun, Delhi: Legend of the Blue Sea is rated as one of the highly recommended SBS K-Drama. At first, I thought it was quite overrated, but then I decided to give it a shot. To my surprise, when I started with the first episode, I ended up binge-watching the entire drama in a span of just two days.
