Piyush Mandal, Panvel, Maharashtra: People who love the culture, music, dramas, cuisine, beauty, etc. of South Korea, have dreams to attend events related to Korean culture. When I was new to the K-world, I was very lucky to attend a Korean Fair held by Korea Tourism Organization, India (KTO), at Andaz Hotel, Aerocity, Delhi. With the help of this event, I learned a lot and many unexpected things happened which were beyond my imagination.
Madhavi Sutar, Kolhapur, Maharashtra: BTS, a well-known boy-band from South Korea, internationally recognized around the globe for their remarkable performances; whose music echoes throughout the world always replenishing audiences with a sense of optimism, courage and enthusiasm that accentuates the significance of self-love within lives through the medium of their captivating music. The seven-membered much-loved boy-band perpetuates liveliness through their music. The meaning & lyrics of their songs are always energetic and encouraging to listen to. BTS, enthralled the fans globally when they announced the release of their docu-series based movie, Break the Silence, last year in September, 2020. During these reeling times of pandemic and lockdown being imposed in several countries, fans finally got a chance to get a glimpse of BTS and to know more about every member. This movie brings their raw and vulnerable self more closer for fans to connect to.
Archana Goswami, Delhi: I always wanted to attend a K-event at KCCI (Korean Cultural Center of India), Delhi, ever since I got interested in the Korean Culture through K-pop and K-dramas. Last year, I finally got the chance to be a part of an event at KCCI. The admin of Korean Culture India Fan Club, Ms. Prerna Tiwari organised a birthday celebration event for BTS members Kim Seok-jin and Kim Tae-hyung on December 29, 2019. I will forever be grateful to her for organising this event and giving all of us a memorable experience of a lifetime. Around 130 fans attended this event!
