The Butterfly Effect: How BTS changed my life

Eshani Bora, Guwahati, Assam Three and a half years ago, I stumbled upon a music video called Blood Sweat & Tears by a K-Pop group called BTS. During that time, I was not in a very good head-space and would surround myself with self-doubt, insecurities, and inferiority complex.

BTS’s BANG BANG CON: A Unique Experience

Dealing with a pandemic is tough. Being stuck inside for more than a month while the suffering gets intense, everything can become tedious. It is already affecting a large number of people all over the world. Since time immemorial, music has always been one of the ways to alleviate the stress, as well as, it has played an important role in uniting people across boundaries. That being said, as a BTS ARMY, recently I experienced something unique which I was lucky enough to be able to witness during this quarantine. This experience was attending BangBangCon on the 18th and 19th of April 2020.

K-Album Review: ‘Map Of The Soul: 7’ by BTS

This year, on June 13th, the world-famous K-pop band, BTS will celebrate its 7th anniversary. The group, consists of 7 members; RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook; released their much-awaited album ‘Map of the Soul: 7′ on 21st February, 2020. This album holds special meaning for all the group members as it reflects their journey of seven years with each song depicting their own personal stories and thoughts. The songs of the album include revisiting previous themes to show the contrast from members’ initial days in comparison to where they are today. Each member gets their turn to tell their story individually as well as with sub-units songs which in my opinion has more impact. Map of the Soul:7, with a track list of 20 songs, is followed by its previous album Map of the Soul: Persona, with 5 of the original tracks being included from the Persona album; and is one of the group’s most ambitious album ever.

BTS: There are no regrets in life, ‘JUST LESSONS’

Through their songs and speeches, I started loving myself. Even though people don’t understand why I like BTS, I don’t mind! ARMY understands this. My idols understands this. They make me happy! They made me embrace my flaws. All I can say is liking and loving BTS was the best decision ever!
