From BlackPink Jennie’s Kimchi Fried Rice to EXO Chanyeol’s Tteokbokki, many idol recipes have blown up on Naver and Twitter! So here are 5 recipes by K-Pop idols everyone should try!

Jinjin’s Banana Milk Coffee

Start your early mornings with a banana milk coffee! ASTRO’s leader Jinjin began trending when he showed his fans the way he enjoys drinking coffee. Jinjin started off by mixing two tablespoons of instant coffee into a cup filled with hot water. He then added the coffee to a cup filled with banana milk. The drink may sound weird, but it is definitely better and cheaper for people on a budget!

Chenle’s Spicy Ramen

Tingle your taste buds with NCT member Chenle’s Spicy Ramen recipe. He highly recommends using Kang Shi Fu Braised Ramen Noodles, but any brand can be used. Start off by boiling water in a pot. Then, add chopped tomatoes and a tablespoon of Lao Gan Ma (chilli sauce). Finally, drop in the ramen and cover it with the lid for 3 minutes. You can customize the recipe by adding vegetables, meats, and even eggs! After adding the extra ingredients, let it simmer for 2 more minutes, and voila we have the famous Chenle Ramen! Don’t forget to have it with member Ji-sung’s recommendation, Lemon Iced Tea.

Nam-joo’s Spicy Stir-fried Pizza

Snack time means Nam-joo’s Pizza time! The APINK member is so well known for her cooking skills that she even created her own meal boxes! Leave the oven behind because this is a pan pizza. Her unique fusion pizzas became so popular that the box sold out within a few days! Out of all the meal boxes, Nam-joo’s spicy stir-fried pork wrap pizza was a hit among the fans! Pizza base, mozzarella, and meat can be bought from any store, but the secret ingredient is the addition of Gochujang, a red chilli paste, to the pizza sauce. Nam-joo recommends wrapping the pizza in a lettuce leaf and dipping it in mayonnaise. Pro tip: Dip the pizza in a green chilli sauce too!

Song’s Jjajangmyeon along with Fei’s sweet and spicy dumplings

A little bit of a level up, here are two recipes because they complement each other beautifully! Starting with iKON member Song’s calming Jjajangmyeon. From graduations to birthdays and exam days, Jjajangmyeon is the go-to dish for most Korean people! However, most people order it. Therefore, Song wanted to share his recipe for people to cook and enjoy this dish at home. Also known as Korean Black Bean Noodles, Song’s Jjajangmyeon has pork and shrimp along with a thick sauce. However, many vegan/vegetarian options are available too. Song confessed that he cooks Jjajangmyeon wherever he is irritated as cooking instantly calms him down.

Now wouldn’t it be nice to pair Song’s noodles with some steaming hot dumplings? Fei’s sweet and spicy dumplings are perfect for it! Miss A’s Fei is a talented chef known for placing 2nd in MasterChef Korea (Celebrity edition) and even had her own cooking show on “My Little Television.” The tangy dumplings have a lot of paprika along with a hint of various sauces like soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hot sauce. Add a coke or sprite to this combination and you have got yourself a perfect weekend dinner!
