K-Press Release: Legendary B.A.P Members BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON Return With New EP – CURTAIN CALL

BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON is made up of four former members of the popular Korean group B.A.P. As B.A.P. they made their debut as a quartet in 2012 with a powerful hip-hop concept that garnered worldwide attention and praise. They released five albums in their debut year alone, sweeping the coveted rookie awards that year.

As artists their unique concept and blending of rap, hip-hop, and EDM genres was unprecedented. Through their lyrics, which addressed social issues affecting youth and the importance of empowerment and self-expression, the band was able to be a source of strength to their fandom and solidify their place in the diaspora of Korean popular music.

BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON have released their highly anticipated EP, CURTAIN CALL. The album, which marks their return from an almost seven-year hiatus, consists of five tracks, including their pre-release single “Farewell.” CURTAIN CALL involves a variety of genres and showcases the members’ evolution from boyish idols to young men. The members hope that their listeners feel their genuine messages of comfort and gratitude for their continued love and faith in the group’s long-awaited reunion.

“Our fans, BABYZ, have sent their endless love and support to BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON. “CURTAIN CALL” has only been made possible because of this. As our fans gave us the honor of spending their one and only youth with us, we hope we can make another unforgettable memory that will last a lifetime. We recommend listening to all of the songs on CURTAIN CALL as you join us on our journey filled with happiness, which will be cherished until the last moment.” – BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON

The title track, “Gone,” reflects one of the main messages that the members want to relay to their fans: memories created together are forever, as is the love that is shared they have shared. And that goodbye does not signal an end but a new beginning. BANG YONGGUK, is credited with the lyric writing, composition, and arrangement for all tracks. Member YOO YOUNGJAE also participated in writing lyrics for the track “Way Back.”
