A fan event was organised on Saturday, 29th March 2025, by Mumbai BTS and Purple Door Entertainment. It was hosted at Doi Studio in Malad West, Mumbai, with a beautiful setting that reflected their duality. The event had everything, from Concert Screenings of Agust D and j-hope, to their birthday celebrations. There were multiple games, like the Random Dance Play. The venue even had merch Stalls. The theme for the event was ‘Red and Black.’ Red signifies j-hope’s bright and energetic aura, while the black reflects Suga’s reflective and intense music style.

From the afternoon until early evening, the fans gathered together to enjoy and celebrate the artistry of both members. The organiser shared their intent regarding the event, stating:

“We ought to provide all BTS fans with a platform to connect, enjoy the content, and participate in activities that honour these artists’ contributions.”

Hope on the Stage And D-Day Screenings

The event began with a welcome note, then we got an overview of the entirety of the event before the screening began. This helped in setting an enthusiastic tone. The program kicked off with the screening of J-Hope’s Seoul tour, Hope on the Stage, followed by August D’s D-Day. The event was filled with a basket full of memorable moments for the fans, who were joyfully engaging with the vents and each other. They passionately sang along to the performances, especially during j-hope’s dance sequence and Agust D’s powerful rap verses. The artists’ journey induced an overwhelming feeling within the attendees across the studio.

Enchanted by the Random Dance Play

One of the standout segments of the event was RPD, also known as Random Dance Play. This segment consisted of fans showing their dancing skills and knowledge about the choreographies of various K-pop songs. The participants’ exceptional moves were worth the widespread applause.

Ira, one of the members from Kosmicmoves, shared their RDP experience:

I loved the Random Dance Play segment. We were dancing to songs with our members, fans, and other dancers at the event. Multiple tracks played from the albums of BTS, Le Sserafim, Stray Kids, and many more. It felt so wonderful at that moment.

Exclusive Games & Surprises

There were multiple games organised during the event, including BTS trivia, quizzes, and complete the chain etc. All the fans participated with unwavering zeal by forming teams, strategising together, and celebrating each other’s successes, which fostered a lively and inclusive environment. There were also surprise giveaways arranged, including fan-made BTS merchandise that delighted the audience. There was also a performance by the local dance crew, Kosmicmoves. The crew covered multiple K-pop songs, Twice’s Strategy, Girls Generation’s I Got A Boy, ENHYPEN’s Bite Me, Red Velvet’s Psycho, SEVENTEEN’s Ready to Love, and NCT 127 Cherry Bomb, adding a thrill to the festivities.

Lux, one of the members of Kosmicmoves, shared:

In the beginning, I was a little nervous since it was our first time performing. When we were enjoying the concert screening of D-Day and Hope on the Stage with all the Army around us, I realised that this group was a dream. It started with a similar passion for BTS and K-pop! The audience was enthusiastic, especially during Cherry Bomb, which was difficult for us to prepare as a group, so the cheers and support were truly special for us.”

Sope’s Birthday Celebrations

Through the event, fans came together to celebrate J-Hope and Suga’s birthdays, making it a memorable day. The celebration featured their concert screenings, fans singing the birthday song, and sharing heartfelt messages. There were Several Merch Stalls at the venue they were Peppy’s Art Studio, Kiiseatables, and Korean Street Fashion. The items ranged from custom photo cards to exclusive posters, apparel, and fan-made crafts. Peppy’s Art Studio stood out the most for the accessories and other art items related to BTS.

Highlights and Experience

Fans’ response was the highlight of the event because of their active participation in activities, and their loud cheers set a celebratory tone in the atmosphere, highlighting their shared passion for BTS.

Lavina, a fan who attended the event after her graduation, felt that the event was an afterparty. She shared:

I went to the SOPE fan event right after my graduation ceremony—so basically, it was like attending an afterparty. I was so grateful to be surrounded by all the happy ARMYs while watching our legends, Yoongi and J-Hope, perform. They’re such a revelation on stage and continue to inspire me just by being their authentic selves. I felt a deep gratitude towards Mumbai BTS for organizing this event—their aura points just skyrocketed!

Ayushre A. Tari, the organizer, shared their aim and future plans to provide platforms for fans to celebrate and connect through such events, said:

The event deepens the importance of interactive and immersive experiences for fans in such gatherings. We will focus on enhancing the engagement through creative activities. We intend to ensure inclusivity and cater to the diverse BTS fanbase.

The event joyfully concluded with fan chants and tons of unforgettable memories, from watching iconic moments together to celebrating their birthday, and games and fun activities that not only filled everyone attending with joy but also found themselves getting emotional now and then.
