K-Event Review: BTS Fest’25 Celebration in Delhi, India

Writer: Aayushi Mishra (Delhi, India)

On 13th June 2025, Korean Culture India Fanclub and Hallyuism hosted a BTS Anniversary event at Hard Rock Café, Janpath, Delhi, and let’s just say the energy was unreal. The place was packed with ARMYs, and the excitement was through the roof.

BTS — the global K-pop sensation made up of seven incredibly talented members: RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They made their debut on June 13, 2013, with “No More Dream,” and ever since then, they’ve been chasing dreams, breaking barriers, and inspiring millions around the world. It wasn’t always easy; they had their fair share of struggles, but they never gave up. And because of that, they became the global icons we know and love today.

In 2022, the members started their mandatory military service. Jin was the first to enlist in December, followed by J-Hope in April 2023, SUGA in September, and then RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook in December 2023. Each of them served for 18 months, and now, as of 2025, they’re all back. Jin returned first, and SUGA was the last to be discharged, completing the circle.

This year’s anniversary was especially meaningful, as it not only marked 12 years since BTS debuted but also celebrated the long-awaited moment of the group being whole again after nearly two years apart. For fans, this made the celebration even more emotional and unforgettable, a true reunion of hearts, music, and memories.

Performances (Singing & Dancing)

The stage lit up with an unforgettable series of performances that perfectly captured the essence of BTS and their incredible 12-year journey. From electrifying dance routines to heart-melting vocal covers, each act brought something special, and the love and effort behind every performance could be felt in every beat.

The event kicked off with a bang as Sapphires took the stage with their high-powered choreography and near-perfect synchronization. Their stage presence instantly set the tone, leaving the audience stunned and screaming for more. As the show continued, performers like Unnati Singh Bilwal, with her soothing vocals, and Anju Shreshtha, whose fierce moves commanded the stage, kept the momentum going strong. Anushka Verma delivered a soulful vocal cover that had people swaying along, while Sanchal combined confidence and charisma to own the spotlight.

Some standout moments included:

  • Taruna Gandhi’s vocals were incredibly rich and calming, almost like a live healing session through her songs. Her performance truly touched the audience, earning heartfelt applause and even bringing a few tears to the eyes of some fans in the crowd.
  • The dynamic duo Shagun & Shradha lit up the stage with their crisp, mirrored choreography. Their chemistry, timing, and energy had the whole room hyped.
  • Ikshita Rajvi and Navneet, truly brought the party with high-energy dance sets that had the audience clapping, cheering, and dancing along in their seats.

And of course, Genzee Group, who closed the dance set with a performance that was nothing short of legendary, sharp, fierce, and filled with powerful formations that left everyone speechless.

The vocal line-up was equally moving. Pratha Barthwal delivered a soft, emotional rendition that felt like a warm hug, while Yashika Sharma took the audience on a vocal journey that shifted from whispers to powerhouse belts with stunning control.

Ishika poured her heart into every note, making even those unfamiliar with the song feel something deeply personal.

The final act of the evening was by Jennifer Joseph, who chose to end the performances with one of BTS’s most beloved songs — Spring Day. As she sang, a concert video of BTS performing the same song played on the screen behind her. The moment was pure magic. Fans were seen quietly singing along, some with teary eyes, as the song’s message of longing, hope, and reunion hit close to home.

Each performer, whether dancer or singer, took the stage not just to perform, but to honor BTS. Their expressions, movement, and vocals reflected the many colors of BTS’s music, from powerful and rebellious to soft, introspective, and healing.

Games

What’s a BTS celebration without a little friendly ARMY competition? The crowd came alive for the first and only game of the day: “How Well Do You Know BTS? – Dance Edition,” and it was everything you’d expect from an ARMY dance challenge.

There were 7 teams, each named after a BTS member: Jin, Jimin, RM, V, Jungkook, SUGA, and J-Hope. The rules were simple: a BTS song would play for a few seconds, and the teams had to first guess the correct song. Once they got it right, one team member had to come up on stage and perform the hook step. And just to spice things up, every team had one ARMY Lifeline. If they didn’t know the choreo, they could call out “ARMY Lifeline!” and choose a performer to save the day with their moves. No pressure, right?

As the game progressed, Team Jin and Team Jimin found themselves neck and neck, both sitting at 2 points each. The tension was real. So, the hosts threw in a tiebreaker with one of BTS’s most iconic songs: “Run.” But here’s the twist: instead of just one member dancing, the entire team had to come up and perform the choreography together. It turned into a full-on dance showdown.

In the end, Team Jimin took the crown with their coordinated moves, enthusiasm, and just the right amount of Jimin-like charm. They walked away with BTS-themed goodies, pride in their hearts, and the ultimate bragging rights as the BTS Dance Champs of the day!

Stalls

What’s a BTS event without a little shopping? The anniversary celebration had some seriously adorable and creative stalls. From handmade merch to cute stickers and freebies, there was something for every kind of fan.

Here’s a look at the stalls that made our hearts (and bags) full:

1. Art & Stitch

This stall was a total fan favorite! Everything here was handmade, and you could feel the love in every item. From canvas and CD paintings to photocard holders, keychains, bookmarks, and even temporary tattoos, it was like a mini BTS art gallery. You could tell each piece was made by someone who gets ARMY energy.

2. Brew the Soul

If your vibe is soft, cute, and aesthetic, this stall is calling your name. Brew the Soul had an adorable spread of stickers, postcards, photo cards, tiny BTS standees, and even some really pretty jewelry pieces. It was one of those stalls where you keep saying “I don’t need this” but walk away with three things anyway.

3. Kukjeedu Korea

Now this one was super wholesome. Kukjeedu Korea was sharing info about learning Korean and opportunities to study or work in Korea, which was cool. And yes, they were handing out freebies too! Everyone walked away with a little pamphlet, a bookmark, and some photocards. It was educational and cute. Win-win.

4. Born for Purple

Just like the name, this stall was made for ARMYs. They had the sweetest collection of BTS-inspired memo pads, sticker sets, photocard holders, and keychains. It was the kind of table that made you say “aww” every two seconds. Perfect for decorating your desk, your journal, or just hoarding like we all secretly do.

5. The Bangtan Stuff

If you’re into accessories, this stall had you covered. Phone charms, bracelets, BTS keychains, sticker sheets, tumblers, and of course, photocards, it was a treasure chest for anyone who likes carrying a little Bangtan with them wherever they go.

Attendee’s Experience

Here are some heartfelt experiences shared by fans who celebrated BTS’s anniversary together:

Celebrating BTS anniversary with all the fellow armies under one roof, Hallyuism made it happen!  Loved the performances, the stalls with BTS accessories and other stuff, and the random dance play. The last performance, specifically, felt like a mini concert, seeing our tannies on the bigger screen while Josephine added her melody. Thank you, team, for always organizing the best programs in Delhi! ❤

– Ms. Mehak Kathuria

Had an amazing time celebrating BTS’s anniversary with fellow ARMYs—huge shoutout to Hallyuism and Genrefy for putting together such a fun event! Being the DJ this time was a new and exciting experience for me. After two years, the energy from the performers made it feel like a real concert again. Big thanks to the team for bringing it all to life! 💜

– Ms. Shruti

It was my first time being a part of the BTS Anniversary Event, and it was magical. Honestly, I heard BTS songs after so long (idk why I stopped since they enlisted), but my heart knew every single lyric when songs played, so I sang along and enjoyed my heart out when the guest performers performed on stage. Kudos to Hallyuism, KCIFC & Genrefy for organizing a fun-filled event. Thanks for the invite, I spent a memorable time with my fellow team members from Hallyuism.

– Ms. Riya Choudhary

I still remember how attending a BTS-related event used to be a dream for my younger self. Even though I’ve been an ARMY for years, I had never attended any BTS event until now. This was my very first experience, and it was truly unforgettable. The event was exceptionally well organized, and the management left me awestruck. The host, performers, and volunteers gave their all to make the event a success. As someone who usually avoids events and large gatherings, this felt like a comforting, welcoming space. People of all ages were present, and I was genuinely stunned to see Indian parents supporting BTS and embracing their children’s love and affection for the group. A heartfelt thank you to Hallyuism and KCIFC for making this event such a memorable experience. Last but not least, let’s keep growing and glowing together in the name of BTS. 💜

A big shoutout to Hallyuism, KCIFC, and Genrefy for creating such a memorable and joyous experience. Here’s to many more celebrations in the name of BTS. Borahae!

  • BTS Fest’25 in Delhi was pure magic! 💜 ARMYs came together to sing, dance, and celebrate 12 years of BTS’s journey. From performances to fun games and heartfelt moments, every beat was filled with love and energy.

  • The experience of reading event coverage is really feels like the attending the event myself well I'm not say myself "Army" because for me army stands for those people who just not love BTS but deeply know about them and me I love them as artist as performer as a person they are so hardworking and talented persons all seven members are really so enthusiastic and phenomenal but yes I don't know about them deeply even I just know about few members of the band whom song I listen or just for some because of his maturity thing. Hope to attend this kind of event in future.

  • Okay, I’m low‑key jealous I missed this 😄. The dance‑offs, the stalls full of cute merch, random fans breaking into karaoke… sounds like a perfect Saturday night if you love BTS. There’s something so beautiful about fans from all walks of life gathering under one roof, screaming the same lyrics together — love that energy and hope there are more of these vibes soon in Delhi or anywhere close by ✨.

  • Indian armies are always full of energy . This is so beautiful of fans coming together and celebrating their journey with songs, games, performance the unbeatable energy and vibe everybody carry that time is so good.

  • This event has everythinggg. As An Army i would have loved to attend this event but I had my assignments and exams at that time

  • BTS Fest'25 in Delhi sounds like the ultimate ARMY reunion! 💜 Seeing Team Jimin win the dance battle with that 'Run' choreography must have been iconic.
Also, the fact that there were stalls like 'Brew the Soul' and 'Born for Purple' just makes it 10x better—my wallet would definitely be crying, but my heart would be so full!✨ Borahae!
