Indian readers, we’re all familiar with The Kapil Sharma Show—a popular comedy program where Bollywood artists promote their upcoming movies or songs. Now, imagine a Korean version of that, with quirky humor, celebrity interviews, and loads of feel-good moments. Enter MMTG—a Korean variety show that’s pure serotonin for K-pop fans and casual viewers alike.
What is MMTG?
MMTG is a Korean variety show that launched on SBS’s YouTube platform in February 2018. The show features interviews with artists from across the entertainment industry, with a particular focus on the K-pop scene. It also has its own YouTube channel named MMTG, where full episodes are uploaded with English subtitles after 48 hours of their telecast.
Host: Lee Eun-jae, popularly known as JaeJae
Genres: Comedy
Aired On: Thursday
Original Network: SBS
Why is JaeJae everyone’s favorite host?

JaeJae is the heartbeat of the show. Known for her quirky humor and friendly demeanor, she creates a relaxed environment where artists can truly be themselves. After working as the producing director of MMTG for eight years, she stepped down from that role—but thankfully, she continues as the host.
If you are a K-pop fan, then this show is highly recommended, a perfect show for you to see your artists enjoying, regardless of being pressured. MMTG TV series is a serotonin boost for both artists and their viewers, as this is a comedy family show. The well-researched, light-hearted yet funny questions with funny pictures (memes), questions are asked to the guests and make the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable.
The Reboot Project: Nostalgia Meets Innovation
In 2020, JaeJae introduced the Reboot Project, aimed at reviving old K-pop songs that deserve a second chance. These are songs that may not have gained enough attention during their original release but are now recognised as timeless.
Thanks to this project, legendary groups like 2PM, OH MY GIRL, Afterschool, SHINee, and Nine Muses have revisited their iconic hits, giving fans a wave of nostalgia and new fans a reason to explore older gems.
