New beautiful sites added to my list worth visiting when in Korea. Loved how they also have statues of their ancestors who fought for the country and people’s freedom just how it is in India. The walls of the Dongpirang village takings is back to our childhood feeling nostalgic. Gotta visit all these destinations while visiting Korea.
Tongyeong looks amazing! 🌊 I’m planning to hit Yi Sun-sin Park for the sea, Dongpirang Mural Village for colorful pics and seafood, Skyline Luge for some thrills, Maemuldo Island for fishing 🎣, and Chungnyeolsa Shrine for prayer. Am I too greedy? 😂
Tongyeong...what a beautiful place it is. I'm a photoholic person so Dongpirang mural village is a perfect place for me. And chungnyeolsa shrine is giving calm vibes so I'll definitely go there.
If I really get a chance to visit Korea I really Love to visit yi sun sin park and Maemuldo island as first one show the history of Korea and second one shows the beauty and location view of the place so I get to know the soil culture and other different aspects related to korea as article mentioned above most of people come there for campaining and trecking so I get to know more about the place 😉

Thank you for this well-rounded list of places in Tongyeong — I especially appreciated learning about the mix of maritime history and outdoor adventure the city offers. The idea of visiting the port, island views, and cultural spots together makes it sound like a very rich travel experience. One question: for someone with limited time, which of the five places would you pick as the ‘must do’ to get the best flavor of Tongyeong in just a half-day?
I really enjoyed reading this! Tongyeong seems like such a hidden gem with its blend of history, art, and scenic views. The mural village sounds especially charming — I love how places like that reflect the local spirit through creativity. This article definitely made me add Tongyeong to my travel list.
This article captures Tongyeong so beautifully! I like how you included both cultural and adventurous spots, it gives such a complete picture of the city. The Skyline Luge sounds like a fun experience, especially with the ocean view. It really makes me want to visit and explore all five places in person.
This article beautifully highlights why Tongyeong is often called the “Naples of Korea.” The mix of scenic ocean views, rich history, and artistic charm makes it feel like the perfect coastal escape. Places like the cable car and Dongpirang mural village sound so vibrant and peaceful at the same time. It definitely went on my travel wishlist now — a spot where nature, culture, and creativity come together so naturally!
Omg I cannot choose only one spot to be favorite as all of them are so exciting and amazing to visit. But if I had to choose one then it would be Maemuldo Island because I want to camp and trek and fish.
