For fans, this initiative opens the door to more immersive experiences, including exclusive events, closer interaction with creators, behind-the-scenes content, and enhanced access to the ever-evolving world of Korean entertainment.
Against this backdrop, the KOCCA K-Content Creators Opening Ceremony took place on 25th April in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. This event marked the beginning of a new chapter in India–Korea creative collaboration. The ceremony set the tone for an exciting journey ahead. It placed creators at the forefront of this growing cultural exchange.

A New Era of Cultural Collaboration: The KOCCA K-Content Creators Opening Ceremony
The KOCCA K-Content Creators Opening Ceremony marked the beginning of a new wave of cultural collaboration between India and Korea, bringing passionate creators together under one roof. The event opened on a warm and lively note, with attendees networking, exchanging ideas, and bonding over their shared love for Korean content from K-dramas and music to films and digital storytelling.
The highlight of the evening was addressed by Director Kim Young – soo, who reflected on his first visit to India in October 2025 during the Rang De Korea event. He spoke about the growing popularity of Korean content in India and emphasized KOCCA’s vision of building a stronger cultural bridge through creators. With the motto “bringing K-content closer to India,” he underlined the importance of creators as the on-ground voice of this movement, playing a key role in shaping how Korean culture is experienced and shared locally.

Opportunities for Selected Creators
The session also provided clarity on the responsibilities and opportunities for the selected creators. Participants were encouraged to actively produce engaging K-content and represent KOCCA at various offline events, offering real-time coverage and authentic storytelling. In return, the program promises valuable exposure, access to exclusive events, official recognition, and opportunities to connect with industry professionals and fellow creators.

A significant moment of the ceremony was the presentation of appointment certificates to all 10 K-content supporters, officially welcoming them into the program. This was followed by an interactive and high-energy quiz segment, where participants tested their knowledge of K-dramas, music videos, iconic characters, and songs. The friendly competition added a fun twist to the evening, with Ms. Aayushi Mishra securing the top spot and Ms. Ayushi Kherayat finishing as the runner-up. Both winners were awarded signed YOUNITE albums by Director Kim himself, making it a memorable highlight.
