K- Reality Show Review: Road to Kingdom

Kaamaakshi Bhat, Zirakpur, Punjab: Road to Kingdom is a K-pop reality survival show by “Mnet” which was aired from April 30, 2020, to June 18, 2020, every Thursday at 20:00 pm KST. It is the prequel of the show “Kingdom” and sequel to “Queendom”. Seven K-pop boy groups who were then unknown to many yet had the potential to shine, participated in the show. The teams that participated were The Boyz, ONF, Golden Child, Verivery, TOO (now rebranded as TO1), Pentagon, and Oneus. It was hosted by Lee Da-hee and Jang Sung-kyu. It had 4 contests with 2 groups being eliminated and one team emerging as the winner which would enter “Kingdom”. The winner was decided by the accumulated score of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds, and the final performance was broadcasted on Mnet’s YouTube channel. Let’s get to know these groups a bit more!

K-Interview: DRIPPIN with Sakshma Srivastav

Shruti Mishra (Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh), Kaamaakshi Bhat (Zirakpur, Punjab), Khushi Vaid (New Delhi) and Nikhat Parveen (New Delhi): DRIPPIN is a 7 members group under Woollim Entertainment. They were earlier known as W PROJECT 4 and Woolim Rookies. They recently released their first single album “Free Pass” on 29 June, 2021 and have gained 600K views on its official MV on Youtube. The Fans were surprised when famous host Ms. Sakshma Srivastav posted on her social media about an interview with Drippin. The interview was broadcasted on Mirror Now and Zoom on 24 July, 2021 2:30 PM IST and is also available on Zoom’s Youtube channel. 

K-Album Review: INFINITE’s Infinite Only

Legendary K-pop group INFINITE released its 6th mini-album called Infinite Only in 2016. As expected from the masters of synchronization, the news of the album spread like wildfire in the K-pop industry and was well received by music lovers. This album won accolades at various music chart shows, and it remains a masterpiece for their fans, Inspirits, and for other fandoms. A closer analysis of this album opens the door to an entirely different world. The album consists of 7 tracks that have their colours and charms.
