Boys Over Flowers drama aired in 2009 on KBS2 with 25 episodes is still making everyone’s heart flutter with amazing chemistry among the cast. This drama was an adaptation of Hana Yori Dango, a Japanese manga. It tells the story of Geum Jan-di, a girl from a poor family who by chance gets enrolled in a prestigious private school. Where she encounters the F4, a bully gang of four astonishingly good-looking young boys who belong to Korea’s wealthiest families.

As time has passed this drama hasn’t lost its charm. It has maintained its position in the top 10 favourite K-dramas list of everyone. The cast of Boys Over Flowers is still very popular; they all have starred in various dramas and made their own name not only in the Korean Entertainment Industry but also internationally.
Lee Min-ho
Lee Min-ho was born in Heukseok-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, South Korea on June 22, 1987. In his senior year in high school, he joined Starhaus Entertainment and became a trainee. He started his career by auditioning for smaller roles in dramas like “Nonstop”, “I am Sam”, etc but his lead role in “Boys Over Flowers” as ‘Gu Jun-pyo’ gave him his major breakthrough in the industry and he then became a household name. After this, he starred in many dramas like “City Hunter” in 2011, “The Heirs” in 2013, “The Legend of Blue Sea” in 2017 and “The King: Eternal Monarch” in 2020 and all of them were hit dramas both in Korea and internationally.

He also starred in movies like “Bounty Hunters” (2016),” Gangnam Blues” (2015), etc.
He has won many awards for his amazing acting in dramas including the Best Actor award from 2011 to 2016 and then again in 2020 for his lead role in the drama “The King: Eternal Monarch”.

Military enlistment
Lee Min-ho began his mandatory military enlistment on May 12, 2017. He performed alternative military service in the Gangnam District Office. Lee Min-ho was discharged on April 25, 2019.
Ku Hye-sun
Ku Hye-sun was born on November 9, 1984, in Incheon, South Korea. While growing up, Hye-sun initially dreamed of becoming a singer. Hye-sun then signed with YG Entertainment. Later she decided to pursue acting while holding her singing career. She debuted as an actor in the KBS horror series “Anagram”. In 2005, she starred in MBC series “Nonstop 5” which attracted even more attention for her. Her major breakthrough was in the drama Boys over Flower as ‘Geum Jan-di’.

Later in her career, she published her first illustrated novel “Tango” (탱고). She also directed a short film “The Madonna” (Yukwaehan Dowoomi) in 2009. She released her ninth self-directed movie Dark Yellow in 2021, which had a special screening at 25th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN).

Kim Hyun-joong
Kim Hyun-joong was born on June 6, 1986, in Seoul, South Korea. He started his career as a singer and was introduced by DSP Entertainment. He was a member of the boy band SS501. Kim Hyun-joong has been performing as a singer until he was casted in the KBS drama “Boys Over Flowers” After “Boys Over Flowers,” Kim Hyun-joong left DSP Entertainment and joined the KeyEast management company.

My always favourite is Lee min ho as jun Oye in the drama I really love Him not as the actor but also as the person he is and his journey after this drama is become so amzed for the people who loves him as a minoz I must say he never fails to make his fan love for him whenever I saw him wether it’s on drama or just a reel of him I can’t control myself to scream he is really so versatile and phenomenal actor of all the time and his other drama are also so astonishing like this one I really want to thanks the author of article to introduce us all cast and their after journey of this mesmerized drama Boys over Flowers 🌹.
