Twelve years sticking together—that’s no small feat. BTS made popular music that inspired people around the world with genuine feelings and honesty. Their story is about grinding through the tough times, never losing sight of why they started, and holding tight to each other and the zillion fans who’ve been screaming along since day one. That’s not just a boy band legacy, that’s straight-up magic, and to honor this remarkable journey, BANGTAN FESTA 2025 took place from June 11 to June 13, organized by the Mumbai Club of BTS ARMY at Sun and Moon Korean Restaurant, Lower Parel, Mumbai.

Founded in 2018, this fan club is a fan collective based in Mumbai. One of the city’s first BTS fan bases, it is well-known for planning events, meet-ups, community service projects, and now, sizable immersive fan events. This fan club was founded by ARMYs for ARMYs to unite ARMYs in a joyful, safe, and expressive environment while celebrating BTS’s music, message, and influence.

The following is a description of events conducted each day.

DAY 1 – The BTS Anniversary Celebration Day

The festival began on June 13th, aligning with BTS’s official debut anniversary. The day celebrated the group’s 12-year journey with emotional tributes and collective joy. Major Highlights of this day included a LIVE concert screening of J-hope’s “HOPE ON THE STAGE: FINAL”, through which all ARMY got to see all seven members on screen. 

Once the concert screening concluded, many interactive games were arranged like ARMYPEDIA which is a game inspired by Official ARMYPEDIA, organizers made this a treasure hunt where participants find multiple clues around the café and the person to complete the hunt first received Jin’s ECHO Weverse Album and a section to promote streaming, where in the most streamed person received Jin’s ECHO Album. Adding to these activities and games, an impromptu dance activity was also held.

Day 2 – The RUN BTS Day

If Day 1 was emotional, Day 2 was pure chaotic fun, exactly the vibe of BTS’s iconic variety show, “RUN BTS.” This day was started with ARMYs being divided into teams and participating in high-energy games inspired by Run BTS, including “So Show Me, I’ll Show You” that is a mix of Chinese Whispers and Dance with a BTS choreography twist, Musical Dumb Charades, Bora Bank (Purple Themed Game), Mic Grab (BTS themed Musical object game) and Bangtanopoly (a BTS-themed monopoly-style board game).

There were quick-thinking challenges, surprise mini-games, and competitive group rounds. The atmosphere was loud, hilarious, and filled with team spirit. Laughter echoed through the venue as ARMYs bonded not just over BTS, but through the chaos they love watching the members experience on screen.

Finally, the winning team received Jin’s ECHO Album and one quick ARMY who was able to guess the BTS song the organizers played in 0.2 seconds won Permission to Dance in LA Stage Set. 

Day 3 – The Magic Memories Shop

The final day brought a change of pace—gentle, imaginative, and heartfelt. Inspired by BTS’s healing and reflective side, The Magic Memories Shop was designed as a cozy, craft-focused day out. Activities included String The Soul:7, in which ARMYs made Bracelet/Phone Charm, Bangtan Brush, in which ARMYs painted and showcased their painting skills, BTS Trivia, Guess the Bangtan BOP (Musical Housie).

Winners of the Musical Housie got to take home official merchandise. One more activity was organised in which ARMYs had to complete the lyrics, where one ARMY who was able to complete the lyrics to BTS’ Magic Shop, which was the theme of the day, received Official BTS 2019 Memories. The mood throughout the day was calm and therapeutic, centred around creativity, comfort, and meaningful conversation.

BANGTAN FESTA 2025 was not just an event; it was a heartfelt tribute to BTS and the ARMYs who’ve stood by them for 12 extraordinary years. As someone who has been a part of the fandom since 2017, I wanted to create something that truly reflected the spirit of BTS: the laughter, the pain, the unity, and the healing.

We’ve hosted smaller events in the past, but this 3-day celebration was on another level. Filled with creative games, real emotional connections, and shared joy that reminded us why this fandom is so powerful. From headbanging like a flash mob cult to ARMYs helping each other make art and bracelets, this event embodied every side of what being an ARMY means.

It was important to us that this wasn’t just a viewing party or a decorative photo zone. Every game, every activity, and every moment was intentionally curated to give Mumbai ARMYs an experience that felt personal and meaningful, not commercial, as our motto has always been, for the ARMY, by the ARMY and with the ARMY.

We’re grateful to Sun & Moon Korean Restaurant for believing in our vision and providing a space that felt safe and welcoming. To every ARMY who showed up, sang out loud, danced freely, and made new friends, this celebration belongs to you.

BANGTAN FESTA 2025, which was set in motion eagerly by the Mumbai ARMY, was a labor of love celebrating the amazing 12 years of BTS. While each concert, memory and smile they shared showed BTS and ARMY how they were connected. The festa brought the ARMYs together, turning their love for the band into something that would last a lifetime. It wasn’t just an event; it was a reminder of how love for BTS can make strangers feel like family.

The success of the event lay in its ability to balance fun, emotional resonance, and communal spirit, reminding us why BTS and ARMY’s bond is so strong and enduring.

BANGTAN FESTA 2025 was a breathtaking reminder of BTS’s legacy in the past 12 years. It celebrated the music, the memories, and above all, the people who had made this journey so unforgettable. As BTS continues to chart onward and upward, inspiring all, ARMY stands firm, ready to walk alongside them on this purple journey filled with love, hope, and endless possibility.
