K-Song Review: BTS’ Zero O’Clock (00:00)

Kabir Khan, New Delhi: Listening to BTS has always been a pleasure. Over the years, one after the other, they’ve been continuously releasing terrific hits. Released in 2020, ‘Map of the Soul: 7’, we were gifted with some of the best melodies with the most beautiful lyrics. Today I’m going to talk about one song from this album, that is dear to my heart and soul! (pun intended). Let’s get it!

Reasons for BTS’ Global Popularity

Yashi Priya, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: Bangtan Sonyeondan, widely popular as BTS, is a seven-member boy band from South Korea that debuted in 2013 with their lead single ‘No More Dream’ from the album 2 Cool 4 Skool. The artists were under Big Hit Entertainment, a small company with humble beginnings. As the name of the group suggests, the septet desire “to be resistant to bullets, so it means to block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that are aimed at the adolescents like bullets, to preserve the values and ideal of today’s adolescents.”

K-Song Review: ‘Winter Bear’ by BTS’ Kim Tae-hyung

The song ‘Winter Bear’, sung and directed by BTS’ Kim Tae-hyung, got instant admiration and praise from ARMYs, the official name of the fandom, upon its release on August 9, 2019. This song is co-written and co-composed by Kim Tae-hyung along with Hiss Noise, Adora and BTS’ RM.

K-Album Review: ‘Map Of The Soul: 7’ by BTS

Yashvi Singh, Delhi: World-famous K-Pop band BTS, released their much-awaited album ‘Map of the Soul: 7’ on 21st February 2020. This album holds special meaning for all the 7 members; RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook as it reflects on their journey of seven years, with each song depicting their own personal stories and thoughts. On June 13th,2020, the group will celebrate its 7th anniversary.
