KTO India is back with another amazing initiative to unite all the fans of Hallyu and allow them to experience the best of Korean culture. Korea Tourism Organization is presenting an online engagement initiative called #KXperience powered by BookMyShow to celebrate the spread of Hallyu wave in India by organising some specially curated content. KTO India or Korean Tourism Organization was established in 2008 and has its office in New Delhi, India that handles the Korean travel and tourism related information and caters to activities that promotes and boosts the attraction towards South Korea, as a premier tourism destination. This virtual event takes off on 17th September 2021, and will be conducted till 15th November 2021. Thats right! Its a whole two month of festive bonanza for all the K-Fans out there. Let’s take a deeper look to know what all you will get to enjoy as part of #KXperience with KTO India.
KXperience will be inclusive of events catering to K-Drama, K-Pop, K-Food, and K-Beauty. Along with that, KTO has also collaborated with several brands such as Discovery+ OTT, Innisfree Cosmetics, BookMyShow and more to offer a wide range of virtual Korean experience for travellers as well as Korean culture lovers. The initiative focuses on bringing the culture of South Korea closer to the Indian consumers through challenges, curated content, contests, and special offers.
The K-Pop experience brings the rising K-Pop star AleXa and Shraey Khanna, renowned Indian choreographer, singer, and dancer to the event where they showcase their amazing moves on her latest single, Xtra, along with a mix of K-Pop and Bollywood.
The K-Food experience will feature the famous Bollywood actor and personality Jahnvi Kapoor who will take up the challenge of cooking Korean meal on the OTT web series Star vs Food on Discovery+.
The K-Beauty experience will be in collaboration with Innisfree, which is an eco-friendly cosmetic and make-up brand straight from the Jeju Island, South Korea and will showcase some amazing Korean skincare tips and information for all the K-beauty enthusiasts.
The K-drama experience consists of studio-session where popular influencers and K-drama enthusiasts will be sharing their take on the K-drama love in their lives faciliated by The Hindu Group as a part of K-Drama Talk Studio.
Combining all four elements of KXperience, KTO brings the fans a pan-India social media contest called The K-Challenge which will take place on www.kxperience.bookmyshow.com powered by BookMyShow. For a smooth conduct of the contest, BookMyShow has curated an enture microsite for the same wherein the participants can recreate their own version of KXperience inspired from the aforementioned four elements. The winners will receive gifts and prizes such as Samsung phones, tablets, and KTO-special KXperience box.
Apart from the experiences and challenges, this event also collaborates with Korikart.com and CulturaGo to provide several offers and discounts on various Korean products and online culture courses. There will also be a virtual tour to be hosted by KTO.
