K-BOOK REVIEW: IN ORDER TO LIVE

Shruti Mishra, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: Almost 1000 people escape North Korea every year, despite having good chances of being caught and put into labour camps . Something was going eerily wrong in this region that in the face of such mercilessness, Yeonmi Park, at the mere age of 13, escaped from North Korea in 2007. Her memoir ‘In Order to Live: A North Korean Girl’s Journey to Freedom’ is an account of such a brave escape. It’s a story of Yeon-mi and her family’s struggle and hardships, her account of escape from the infamous country, and her journey to freedom. It is a first-hand account of life in the ‘mysterious nation’ and is a source which satisfies our curiosity of knowing what mystery lies in this part of the Asian continent.

K-Drama Review: Graceful Family

Anisha Nath, Kolkata, West Bengal: Woman can do anything beyond their limits. The roles of the actors fit them very well making this drama binge worthy. Due to their best acting skills and a very good storyline; this drama attracted a lot of viewers starring Im Soo-hyang playing the character of Mo Seok-hee, Lee Jang-woo playing the character of Heo Yoon-deo, and Bae Jong-ok playing the character of Han Je-gook. The character of Im Soo-hyang and Bae Jong-ok was the main reason why I watched it twice and I will not hesitate to watch it again.

Let me bring in to you a salivating and tempting appetite recipe of the Korean marinated Raw Crab dish. This dish is known as Gejang, where Ge means Crab and Jang means soy sauce in Korean.
