Door to Your Favourite Asian Cuisines: Bowlers Restaurant in Guwahati, Assam

Located in Chenikuthi, Guwahati, Assam, Bowlers is an ideal setting for people who want to enjoy different Asian cuisines from an affordable select menu and dishes ranging from Thailand, Korea, Indonesia, and Japan. It was opened not long ago in 2022 by Rohit Raj Baruah and Gabriella. Bowlers has won many accolades since its opening and are now one of the well-known restaurants in Guwahati.

With a very bright and aesthetic ambience, the visitors make the most of the serene surroundings and savour the mouthwatering dishes. The restaurant is now known for its unique menu where the price range for two people ranges from ₹500 – ₹1000. Two new items are introduced every month and customers are asked to give their honest review on those items. If the new items have a lot of positive reviews it has a permanent place in the menu.

One of their best-selling beverage on the menu is the Taro Twist which is a bubble milk tea made of sweet potato which is purple in colour. Their other speciality item from the menu is the variety of Ramen Bowls such as classic ramen, classic miso ramen, Bangkok bowl, hades ramen, and amalay bowl etc. With the ramen bowls, you can add multiple side dishes such as chilli oil, seaweed tempura, kimchi, peanuts, extra egg, cheese, spicy relish and so on.

Along with their hit dishes, their other must-have items are kimbap, kimchi fried rice, bibimbap, gyoza and sushi. Furthermore, they also serve vegetarian dishes of the same for vegetarian and vegan customers.

To begin we started with two beverages the Taro Twist and Choco Mocha which were both delicious and refreshing. For starters, we ordered the Chicken Kimbap which was made of fresh ingredients and a mouthful of freshness. The mains consisted of a Chicken Classic Ramen with several sides such as Seaweed Tempura, Prawn Crackers, Chilli oil and Kimchi, and Chicken Kimchi Fried Rice. All the dishes looked and tasted appetising and flavourful, the sauces were piquant and made authentically like we were in a restaurant in Korea.

We met co-owner Gabriella who gave us two special dessert treats which were decadent and it was the best way to end our evening. As we were about to leave we got fortune cookies to try out our luck for the rest of the year. We were very content with our visit to Bowlers and if you visit Guwahati or near Chenikuthi, it is a place you MUST visit.
